How to get the perfect beach hair look

You do not have to spend an entire day at the beach in order to get those dreamy beachy waves in your hair. In this blog post we will teach you how you can create a beautiful texturized beach look without even going to the beach. Beach hair refers to big wavy messy and texturized hair. You do not need to have naturally curly hair in order to re-create this look. It can just as easily be created if you have straight hair.

Preparations

In order to achieve this look, you hair cannot be newly washed. Make sure it has been more than two days since you last washed your hair. Newly washed hair can be difficult to work with when creating texture, especially if you have naturally straight hair.

When you wash your hair make sure to use volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Redken Beach Envy Volume is a volumizing collection which adds volume, depth and texture to the hair. It enhances the natural movement in the hair, creates more structure and softens the hair so it does not feel stiff and dry.

Add a volumising mousse

Moroccanoil have created a mousse named Moroccanoil Beach Wave Mousse which enhanced natural waves and curls without leaving the hair dehydrated.

The mousse contains argan oil which nurtures the hair and enhances waves. Apply the mousse onto wet hair and run it through your hair until most of the mousse transfers. Flip your head forward and scrunch it in order to provoke any curls or waves. Let the hair air-dry og use a hairdryer with a diffuser.

Finalize the look with a texturizer
