Home test for allergies to dust, cat and grass

This quick and easy-to-use test allows you to find out if you have allergies to dust, cats or grass – right in your own home. The test has a high accuracy of over 90%.

1 finger prick (lancet)

1 capillary tube for collecting blood

1 bottle of reagent fluid (buffer)

1 detailed user manual

You must have access to a watch and a tissue (or alcohol wipe) to clean your finger.

How to use the test – step by step

Preparation:

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and rinse with clean water. Allow test materials to reach room temperature before opening the package.

Prepare the test:

Open the foil pouch and remove the test cassette. Carefully remove the cap from the lancet.

Take the blood sample:

Clean the tip of your finger (middle or ring finger) with an alcohol swab. Press the lancet against your finger – the needle will automatically retract after use.

Hold your hand down and massage your finger to produce a drop of blood.

Collection of blood:

Carefully guide the capillary tube to the drop of blood – without squeezing the balloon. The blood will automatically draw up to the marked line in the tube. If necessary, massage the finger again if not enough blood comes out the first time. Avoid air bubbles.

Transfer the blood for the test:

Empty the capillary tube into the test cassette sample well by squeezing the balloon.

Add the reagent liquid:

Unscrew the cap of the buffer bottle and pour the entire contents into the large well on the test cassette.

Waiting time and reading:

Wait exactly 15 minutes.

Then pull out the blue carriage until it clicks into place. Wait another 30 minutes.

The result can then be read.
